Friday Fives: Add copper in your home

About a year ago, I think my love for copper really began, I became a little overboard with it too. So I have created a post of how to add copper into your home.. BUT I would not advise adding absolutely everything yo see here into your home as you do not want a copper overload. Little touches of it here and there can make a room a little bit more fancy!

Friday Fives: Beach Vibes

After visiting the beach this week, I really wanted to recreate a beach house interior. It has always been a dream of mine to live by the beach, but the reality of a student kicked in and got me thinking of how I could make my current home feel a little bit closer to the beach. 

I have included 5 really simple ways to give your home a more coastal feel. An easy starter would be to paint everything white, especially if you have any wooden or brick wall. Painting a light colour will easily brighten up the space, neutralising the entire room. This then gives you room a blank canvas to add simple textures from driftwood/wooden pieces of furniture mixed with rope decor. All in all hopefully giving your room a might more light and airy room, with hints of nautical features such as, striped rugs and beach prints, making it feel like your that little bit closer to the sand and sea!
